H.O.P.E. Certification Program Colorado – Workplace Wellbeing Summit

June 27 @ 8:30 am - 3:30 pm

A full-day Workplace Wellbeing Summit where teams from companies, local unions and professional associations will learn H.O.P.E programming.

Join us on June 27th for the Workplace Well-being Summit at the American Mountaineering Center in Golden, Colorado from 8:30-3:30.

The event is supported by United Suicide Survivors International, the Suicide Prevention Coalition of Colorado, the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, Mines and Associates, Women in Piping & Plumbing, Women in Emergency Services, Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment, Colorado’s Office of Suicide Prevention, Saunders Construction, Hensel Phelps and others!

This event is designed to help workplaces design comprehensive well-being programs that empower people to survive and thrive through tough times, by covering proactive prevention and culture change, early identification of mental health challenges, and preparation for mental health emergencies.

Our summit is not just about suicide prevention; we all agree we need to get upstream from mental health crises by being proactive and promoting well-being. However, we are not afraid to tackle the tough stuff like major mental health issues, addiction, overdose, and suicidal thoughts.

While this event is targeting safety-critical industries such as construction, mining, oil & gas, first responders, and healthcare, everyone is welcome.

We encourage companies, local unions, professional associations, and teams of 3-10 from each organization to attend. It’s recommended that each team include representatives from leadership, HR, safety, marketing, and people with lived experience with suicide, overdose, addiction, and other mental health challenges.

At the conclusion of the Workplace Well-being Summit, organizations will be invited to apply to the H.O.P.E. Certification (Helping Our People Elevate through tough times) Colorado Pilot program. Only 10 organizations will be selected to enroll in this full-year of technical assistance and implementation support of nine practices designed to shift culture around workplace mental health. Even if your organization does not go on to enlist in the pilot program, your team will find great benefit in this one-day Summit.

Participating in the Workplace Well-being Summit will equip you with a strategic and comprehensive plan based on best practices. Register now to join us in elevating your workplace’s well-being and making a positive impact in your community.
